This rare map of Britany made by the Amsterdam publisher and Pieter Persoy (1675-1695). This among fourteen other maps are sometimes found in atlases by Frederik de Wit.
The cartouche was etched by the master engraver / etcher Romein de Hooghe. The map is dedicated to Johan Six van Chandelier (1620 – 1695), a poet from Amsterdam.
