Detailed manuscript map of Georgia, based upon an 1823 map by Jules Klaproth. The map depicts the rugged terrain of Georgia and southern Russia in impressive detail from Mozdok south to Gori and Tbilisi. Shows the various river systems including the Terek and Kura River winding through the mountains. Includes three distance scales below the map image.

A detailed and uncommon map by the traveler Julius Heinrich von Klaproth, an engraved version of the map was engraved in Paris by Berthe. It is uncertain if this is the model for the map or copied by a contemporary.
