He enjoyed real success after World War II working as a fashion illustrator for important houses such as Dior, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue. He later also drew for the Lido and the Moulin Rouge. The advertising designs for Red Kiss (Rouge Baiser) have left a lasting mark on people's memories.
