Description

A late sepia re-issue from a suite of engravings originally by Martial in 1795. Captioned "The Cure." It shows a male leaning over on his side so a maid or servant may administer an enema to cure his particular ailment. His wife/lover reclines half out of the bed on the other side. Perhaps her turn next??
