Description
Satirical print in which Count Otto von Bismarck balances on the world with one spurred foot entering France, and wearing only his underpants which are marked with the German imperial eagle.
Caption beneath the print: 'L'Homme A La Boule Par Draner. Tarteifle! je ne gonprends par ce que j'ébrouve? Il me semble que je affre perdu l'eguilipre, et que mon pied il affre clissé sur la poule." The caption in French imitates the German pronunciation of the French language.
Print from a set of caricatures, broadsheets and illustrations in ten volumes : "Collection de caricatures et de charges pour servir à l'histoire de la guerre et de la révolution de 1870-1871".
