This atlas volume was produced to accompany a landmark collaboration between a Peruvian archaeologist and a Swiss naturalist. It includes eye-grabbing views of pre-Columbian mummies, tombs, artifacts, and more. The lithography was done by Leopoldo Müller and the volume was published by the "imperial de la Corte del estado de Viena." The plates are numbered I through LVIII, plus an additional plate Via and the title page.
