Description

This is a detailed and decorative map of the Tartary and northern part of China, including the Chinese Great Wall, the Caspian Sea, and the Volga River east as far as the China Sea and Xanadu. To the east of the Caspian Sea is good for details in present-day Uzbekistan and Kazakstan. The region here is labeled as "Zagatay Tart," and cities of the Silk Road are mentioned Buccara (Bukhara), Samarchand (Samarkand), Taskan(Tashkent), etc.

It extends north to Nova Zembla and south to the Upper Ganges River. The Northern tip of Korea included.
